For all the newbies, here’s our insider tip for a relaxed, calm holiday amid the locals: plenty of farms, two restaurants, a pizzeria, a small but delicious bakery, and a couple of residential houses – full of people who greet each other on the street – “Grüß Gott”, as they say, in our contemplative and charming village Albes/Albeins. The best of town and country
If you belong to the kind of people who like to spend their holidays off the beaten track, this is the right place for you. During your farm holidays you are part of the village community. And when the village gets too small for you, Bressanone/Brixen – one of the most beautiful and popular cities in South Tyrol – is just a stone’s throw away. With the city bus you can reach the lively town with its lovely boutiques, bars, and restaurants in just ten minutes.

Speaking of public transport: by staying at one of our farms, you get the BrixenCard for free, with its abundance of advantages, from free entry to the museum to interesting guided tours. In addition, you can use all means of public transport in South Tyrol. A comfortable benefit! You can leave your car in Albes/Albeins, or, even better, at home. In South Tyrol it is possible to reach the highest and most hidden places by train, bus, or cableway – in total relaxation. That’s a promise.

A holiday in Valle Isarco/Eisacktal is possible even without any motorised means of transport: just put on your hiking shoes and start your adventure! The destinations you can reach on foot from Albes/Albeins are astounding, for example the Plose summit and its wonderful views. The ascent alone, along the cool Eores/Aferer creek – is quite an experience! A hiking tour through a beautiful mixed forest leads you into the romantic Val di Funes/Villnösstal, home to the world-famous Odle/Geisler peaks and Reinhold Messner. Those who prefer lower altitudes will find plenty of walking trails, along with a series of interesting places to visit: the cities of Bressanone/Brixen and Chiusa/Klausen or the Abbazia di Novacella/Kloster Neustift, a famous monastery near Bressanone/Brixen. Whatever your preferences are, Albes/Albeins has something to suit your tastes!
